New to SUP? Even if you’ve never stood on a surfboard before most people find themselves gliding like a pro in minutes. We offer basic instructions that can make anyone a natural aquatic athlete!

Paddleboard rentals are available by the hour and we have the absolute best paddleboard rates in Chicago.

Chicago Water Sport Rentals paddleboards are new for the 2018 season and we exclusively carry premium Bic Paddleboards, and F2 poly-carbonate paddles with varying blade sizes based on your skill level.

Rentals include paddleboard, life jacket, and paddle.

Are reservations required?

Yes, reservations are required and your water sport activity can be selected by clicking any of the red rental buttons throughout the site.

What do I need to know about the jet ski check-in process?

This pertains to jet ski customers only … renters are required to arrive one hour (60 minutes) prior to departure time.

You’ll need to bring the credit card you used to make your reservation and your government issued ID. The names on both must match.

Late arrivals (not arriving 60 minutes prior to departure) are subject to reservation being cancelled without a refund.

What’s your cancellation policy?

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy for all rental activities. However, if we need to cancel due to weather or lake conditions, we will alert you as soon as possible. At that point, we will discuss options.

Where are you located?

We are located at 31st Street Harbor. Our exact location is at the south end of the harbor opposite of the beach. Dock J next to the boat launch, floating swimming pool, and Salerno’s restaurant. Use Google Maps and search: 31st Street Harbor, Dock J or Chicago Water Sport Rentals. Do not search using a street address.

Where should I park?

The best place to park is in the west lot located on the SW corner of 31st street and Lake Shore Drive.
