Chicago Water Sport Rentals rents professionally maintained premium Yamaha WaveRunners & jet skis. Our rental fleet consists exclusively of Yamaha WaveRunners, which can accommodate tandem riders (two people per jet ski).
The feeling of zooming across beautiful Lake Michigan is something you’ll never forget, so come experience a power-packed ride, or tone it down to accommodate your calmer side.
Each jet ski operator is provided with a U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) approved personal flotation device (PFD/life jacket) and a safety whistle. Our jet skis exceed the USCG safety requirements. All of jet skis have been inspected and passed United States Coast Guard inspections.
Rates:
Monday – Friday
1/2 hour: $59. / 1 hour: $119.
Weekend & Holiday’s
1/2 hour: $89. / 1 hour: $178.

Jet Ski Rental Requirements:

It is required that that you arrive 30 minutes prior to your reservation departure time. For example, if you reserve a jet ski for a 1PM departure you need to be on site, at our office by 12:30PM.

Late arrivals are subject to cancellation without refunds.

To rent a waverunner from Chicago Water Sport Rentals the renter must be 21 years old.

Be prepared and allow ample time for traffic, parking and walking to our rental office. Do not be late (one hour prior to departure time) as we cannot accommodate late arrivals for any reason.

To confirm identity of each operator is required to bring a government issued ID. Photos or screen shots of ID’s are not permissible. You’ll also need to bring the credit card used to pay for your reservation and the names on the credit card and drivers license must match.

Each operator / renter must cover their own security deposit. One person can not cover a security deposit for someone else.

Security deposit details: A $500 hold will be placed on your credit card and if you use your debit card we place a $1,000 security deposit hold. Security deposit holds are released daily when the jet ski is returned on time and in the same condition as when the rental started. We do not accept cash for security deposits.

Time stamped photographs and videos are taken with the operator on the jet ski prior to the jet ski leaving our docks. This confirms the condition of the jet ski at the start of your rental period and protects everyone. The renter is responsible for all repairs due to damage and lost revenue for each day the jet ski is out of the water for repair.

Insurance requires that all operators understand and speak English fluently so to understand safety and operation instructions.

For the safety of everyone we retain the right to limit, change, or cancel a reservation based on current or forecast weather and lake conditions.
Tandem Riders:
$10 extra rider fee applies
For safety, if any rider wears a XXL PFD/life jacket then that person must ride solo. Operators and riders who each wear a XL PFD/life jacket must also ride solo or with a smaller rider.
A person any age can be a rider on a jet ski as long as they are accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.

Chicago Water Sport Rentals reserves the sole right to refuse any rental to anyone we feel is under the influence of any drug or alcohol. Reservation payment deposit will be forfeited and will not be rescheduled.
