Chicago Water Sport Rentals rents professionally maintained premium jet skis. Our rental fleet consists of Yamaha VX110, which can accommodate tandem riders (two people per ski).
Each jet ski operator is provided with a U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) approved personal flotation devise (PFD/life jacket) and a safety whistle. Our jet skis exceed the USCG safety requirements.
Add an additional rider and make it a tandem jet ski rental for $10 extra.

Jet Ski Rental Requirements:
To operate a jet ski in Illinois the operator must be 21 years old and if younger the operator must have a completed boater safety certificate.
It’s important and required that you arrive 1 hour prior to your scheduled departure time. So for example, if your reservation is at 1:00 you’ll need to be here at 12:00 to sign waivers and for safety instructions.
Each operator is required to bring a government issued ID or passport. Photos of ID’s are not permissible so please bring your physical ID.
To rent a jet ski it is required that each operator cover their own security deposit so each operator is required to bring their own credit or debit card that matches their ID.
Security deposit details: A $500 hold will be placed on credit cards or a $1,000 hold is placed if using a debit cards. We release security deposit holds when the jet ski is returned on time and in the same condition as when the rental started.
Insurance requires that all operators must be able to understand and speak English fluently so to understand safety & operation instructions.
Tandem Riders:
$10 extra rider fee applies
For safety, if any rider wears a XXL PFD/life jacket then that person must ride solo. Operators and riders who each wear a XL PFD/life jacket must also ride solo or with a smaller rider.
A person any age can be a rider on a jet ski as long as they are accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
Each driver must provide their own security deposit to rent a jet ski. The security deposit amount is $500 if a credit card is used or $1000 if a debit card is used.
The security deposit is released the same day, provided there is no damage to the vehicle during your rental time.
